In the therapeutic aspect of the pathology of the gastrointestinal tract and liver, the most promising at this stage are inflammatory bowel diseases, colorectal cancer and decompensated cirrhosis of the liver. At the same time, clinical application of the embryonic stem cells involves a number of ethical and religious limitations.
