Research Interest
Stem cells therapy is a relatively new and promising direction in the treatment of many serious diseases in which conventional methods fail to achieve the desired results. In the therapeutic aspect of the pathology of the gastrointestinal tract and liver, the most promising at this stage are inflammatory bowel diseases, colorectal cancer and decompensated cirrhosis of the liver. At the same time, clinical application of the embryonic stem cells involves a number of ethical and religious limitations. In contrast to embryonic stem cells, autologous stem cells of the patient is ethical and promising, as it opens up unlimited possibilities of repair, regeneration of tissues, amplification and modeling of the immune system, rejuvenation of all tissues and organs.
